
Repair Policy

1. Request-for-quote model
All repair requests are submitted online and confirmed at our Amagansett shop after physical inspection. Submitting a repair request does not charge your card; it opens a conversation and reserves a tentative drop-off time.
2. Inspection and final quote
- Drop your board at the shop within the agreed window.
- Our technician inspects the board in person and issues a final written quote, typically within 24 business hours.
- You confirm the quote before any work begins. If you decline, we return the board uncharged.
3. Pay at pickup
Payment is due at pickup at the Amagansett shop after the repair is complete. We accept card, Apple Pay, Cash App, and cash. No deposit is required to begin the repair after the quote is confirmed in writing.
4. Warranty
- Repaired areas carry a 30-day workmanship warranty against re-opening of the same break under normal surfing conditions.
- New damage outside the original repair area is not covered.
- Warranty claims require photos and a brief description; bring the board to the shop for assessment.
5. Abandoned-board policy
- Boards left for more than 60 days after repair completion (or after a declined quote) are considered abandoned.
- We send written notice at days 30 and 50 to the email and phone number on the request.
- Abandoned boards may be sold to recover storage and labor costs; any surplus is held for the customer for an additional 90 days.
6. Turnaround
Standard turnaround is 5–10 business days from the time you confirm the quote, depending on the repair type and queue. Rush service may be available for an additional fee.
